The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has officially declared the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) results for the academic year 2024–2025. The results were released on May 8, 2025, at 9:00 AM IST.

- Overall Pass Percentage: 95.03% of students cleared the exam, showing a slight improvement over last year’s 94.56%.
- Girls Lead Again: Girls achieved a pass percentage of 96.7%, significantly higher than boys, who recorded 93.16%.
- Top Performing District: Ariyalur emerged as the best-performing district with a 98.8% pass rate.
- Perfect Scores: A total of 26,887 students secured full marks in at least one subject.
- Schools with 100% Results: Out of 7,513 schools, 2,638 achieved a 100% pass rate, including 436 government schools.
